We believe
As a congregation of the North American Lutheran Church, we believe that the risen Jesus is Lord and God; that the Bible is authoritative and normative for Christians; that we are to baptize and make new Christians; that we are to be faithful to our Lord Jesus unto death; and that we must be faithful to God's Word rather than the whims and wisps of our cultural moment.
God is the Creator, gives the gift of life, and knows us before we have even been conceived. God created male and female; and therefore made marriage for man and woman, for companionship, and for children.
We hold to these four core values:
- Christ-Centered
- Mission-Driven
- Traditionally-Grounded
- Congregationally-Focused
Welcoming all in Christ's name, Growing together in faith, Sharing God's love in the world
The Lord Jesus is always seeking that his lost sheep return to him, that he may find them, feed them, restore them, forgive them, bless them, and give them life. The Lord Jesus does not desire that we remain as we are, but that we be transformed into his image, through the gift of the Holy Spirit in baptism, through the worship of God in the divine service, through repentance for the forgiveness of sins, through the reception of his body & blood in Holy Communion, and through prayer and the fellowship of all the saints.
